NPS GC and Uzbekistan Railways to localize railway automation production in Uzbekistan.
A memorandum was signed at the "Innoprom. Central Asia" forum by Alexey Soshnikov (ELTEZA) and Sharafiddin Kadyrov (Uzbekistan Railways).
NPS GC will intentionally provide technical support and train Uzbekistan Railways specialists at its manufacturing sites.
The potentially localized equipment list includes interlocking and signaling systems, axle counters, point machines, LED signals, digital comms, and HSR traffic control systems.
P.S. High-speed local code.

Frankfurtโs Bockenheimer Warte: Where Infrastructure Meets Art
Located in Frankfurt, Germany, the Bockenheimer Warte station is a place where daily life and art intersect.
The stationโs main entrance is designed to look like a vintage tram car "diving" into the pavement. This surreal project was designed by Zbigniew Peter Pininski, who found inspiration in the works of Renรฉ Magritte, a renowned artist famous for shifting the viewer's perception of reality.
The construction took 15 years before the station finally opened in 1986. Despite planned modernizations in 2001, the unique entrance was preserved. Today, Bockenheimer Warte remains one of the city's most iconic and striking architectural landmarks.
P.S. Urban surrealism, strictly on schedule.

Stockholmโs Kungstrรคdgรฅrden (โRoyal Gardenโ) metro station really does live up to its name. Walking in feels like stepping into another world.
It opened in 1977 and is one of the deepest stations in the capital, sitting 34 metres below ground and 29.3 metres below sea level. Designers Ulrik Samuelsson and Arne Fredriksson took their cues from the palaces above. Bare rock vaults are covered in bright mosaics, set off by murals and bits salvaged from demolished buildings: old statues, carved columns, pieces of fountains.
The underground garden has even developed its own ecosystem. Rare moss, insects and cave spiders live here, found nowhere else in Sweden and probably brought in from Southern Europe.
P.S. The deepest garden in Sweden grows underground.

NPS GC representatives participated in a business mission organized by the Russian Export Center (REC) in Mumbai, India.
Participants from over 50 Russian and Indian companies discussed promising areas of cooperation in high technology and infrastructure modernization.
Denis Vodnev, NPS Group Marketing Director, presented the holdingโs key projects in transport infrastructure development and the deployment of domestic train traffic management system and outlined potential partnership opportunities with Indian companies and government bodies.
India is one of our most promising markets. We previously supplied a batch of Russian electric drives โ adapted for the Indian rail gauge โ for pilot operation on the Northern Railway. We are keen to deepen this cooperation and believe our technologies can make a meaningful contribution to Indiaโs transport infrastructure
The multi-sector business mission was held on May 13โ14, 2026, as part of the national project โInternational Cooperation and Export,โ and aimed at promoting Russian industrial solutions and technologies in the Indian market.โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
P.S. Different gauge, same ambition.

Western Norwayโs 20-km Flรฅm Railway is world-renowned for its scenery, often cited as one of the most beautiful rail journeys on Earth.
Built in 1924, the line features 20 tunnels, 18 of which were dug by hand. These winding passages were designed to navigate the steep terrain and shield the tracks from avalanches.
With an 863-meter climb, it is Northern Europeโs steepest standard-gauge railway. Notably, the line crosses the river three times via tunnels hidden directly beneath the tracks.
Since 1940, seven-car trains have served 10 stations at 40 km/h. Service runs ten times daily in summer and four times daily in winter.
P.S. Pure human grit etched into the mountainside.

British railway fans once fought a fierce battle over a bronze duck.
London wanted a monument for Sir Nigel Gresley, creator of the world-record Mallard locomotive. To highlight Gresleyโs love for birds, sculptor Hazel Reeves added a small duck to the statue.
The design sparked a massive row. Gresleyโs grandsons demanded the duck be removed to protect his dignity, while fans argued it showed his human side. Despite a 3,000-signature petition to keep the bird, the grandsons won.
Ironically, one of those grandsons was a duck breeder himself. On unveiling day, protesters brought rubber ducks to King's Cross, where Gresleyโs statue now stands missing his companion.
P.S. Great legacy but no duck.

The CEO of NPS GC Alexey Krapivin leads the Russian Curling Federation as its newly elected President.
As an Olympic sport, curling has a surprisingly deep history in the country, with the Federation now celebrating its 35th anniversary. While it may seem unconventional for the Russian sports scene, curling first arrived in the late 19th century through foreign diplomats and merchants. After a long hiatus, it was officially reborn in the early 1990s. Today, it is a key part of the federal project "Sport as a Way of Life."
The Federation continues to expand its reach across the regions, building professional arenas and launching corporate leagues. What started as a niche curiosity has transformed into a strategic national interest, strengthening its position on the Russian sports map.

Trains cross deserts and borders, overcoming technical hurdles like track gauges or power systems. However, one barrier remains unbeatable: the language of sound.
What does a train sound like? Even in Russia, people canโt agree. A poll showed that 26% hear "tydysh-tydysh," while only 7% stick to the classic "chuchukh-chuchukh."
It gets even more diverse around the world:
๐ฌ๐ท In Greece, the wagons make a soft "touf-touf-touf."
๐ฏ๐ต๐จ๐ณ๐ฐ๐ท Asian trains sound much brighter: "gatan-goton" in Japan, "kuang-dang kuang-dang" in China, and a rhythmic "chik-chik-pok-pok" in Korea.
๐ฌ๐ง๐บ๐ธIn English, trains go "chugga-chugga choo-choo" or make a steady "clickety-clack."
๐ซ๐ท French trains have a melodic "tagadam-tagadam" or "tougoudoum-tougoudoum", likely singing along to Edith Piaf.
Despite these different "languages," a long journey has a way of bringing people together, even if they have to speak with their hands.
P.S. Even the rails have an accent.
