Colorado shoots down “assault-weapons” ban — for now.

Gun owners across the land breathed a sigh of relief on Monday at the news that the sponsor of a Colorado “assault weapons” ban is pulling her bill from consideration one day before the legislative session ends.

Most normal Americans have a sense that the people now running the country are off in some fundamental way. But the specifics have been fuzzy. Are they morons or evil geniuses? Are they controlled by foreign powers or home-grown mind viruses? Or are the aliens pulling their strings?

Venerable pollster Scott Rasmussen claims to have found a plausible answer: The US is run by a tiny, insular group of people who share similar backgrounds and attitudes — and whose insularity has corrupted them to the point that they’re fine with stealing elections and censoring uncomfortable ideas.

Worth sharing. This is in relation to ongoing Jan 6th arrests but should be seen by as many Americans possible considering the current state of the nation.

"....DOJ is actively charging more cases and making more arrests.  The "easy" cases for them are largely over.  They are now moving into cases where they lack the same quality of video evidence.

At this point I'm continuing to take new cases -- as I tell all my clients, we'll figure out how to cover the costs.  I've been at this 20 months and it's working so far.

Let me add to this:  If the FBI comes to your doorstep or just gives you a phone call and asks you to come meet with them, do not answer questions without first contacting an attorney.

They are not there to listen to your side and include it in their decision-making.  Usually the decision re how to deal with you has already been made.  They are there to gather additional evidence in the form of any statement you might make.

You don't know what they already have -- and more importantly you don't know what they DON'T HAVE.

The reason for wanting to get you to talk is to fill in gaps where they lack evidence.  They will fill in those gaps with your own statements during questioning. 

You also don't know if they already have evidence re the questions they are asking.   What they are doing in that regard is trying to see if you will lie to them.  That will give them leverage to use against you later.

This is why you should never answer questions posed by the FBI in a surprise visit you are not expecting.

Same advice if they come with a search warrant.  You have to let them search -- but you do not need to talk to them or answer questions.

They are not there to be fair.  They are there to gather evidence.  Your answers to their questions is evidence and you are adding to the case they are trying to make when you give them information.

Trudeau’s Canada Threatens LIFE SENTENCES for “Hate”

This is not satire. This is real life 1984.

Life in prison, something traditionally preserved for manslaughter or murder, is now being threatened to those found guilty of “hate.”

Bill C-63 reads:

“Everyone who commits an offense under this act or any other act of Parliament, if the commission of the offense is motivated by hatred based on race, national or ethnic origin, language, color, religion, sex, age, mental or physical disability, sexual orientation or gender identity or expression, is guilty of an indictable offense and liable to imprisonment for life.”

It gets worse.

The new bill bribes citizens to snitch on their fellow Canadians.

The Highwire reported:

“It [C-63 bill] allows someone to make a complaint of a discrimination anonymously … if that hateful complaint is found legit, a maximum of 20,000 [Canadian] dollars goes to that person.”

It’s not hard to imagine the level of abuse that could come from such incentives.

Similar legislation to define and crack down on in-person and online “hate” is being pushed across Europe.

Just recently, in Belgium, former Flemish parliamentarian Dries Van Langenhove was sentenced to one year in prison. The reason for this sentence was for sharing supposedly “racist memes” in a private group chat.

Next, they'll come after you.

The Quigley Formula - G. Edward Griffin lecture

An excellent lecture by G. Edward Griffin entitled "The Quigley Formula: A conspiratorial view of history as taught by the conspirators themselves"

"Quigley" is the late Carroll Quigley, a Council on Foreign Relations member and historian, as well as mentor to CFR & Trilateral Commission member Bill Clinton.

The lecture is based around the following quote from his book Tragedy & Hope, pp. 1247-1248:

Senate Bill Seeks to Place Campus Protesters on No-Fly List

A bill introduced in the Senate by two Republicans seeks to place campus protesters on a no-fly list.

According to the legislation posted on Senator Marsha Blackburn’s website on Wednesday (May 8), S.4274 will require the US government to place the campus protesters on a no-fly list. A press release from Blackburn and her Republican colleague Roger Marshall explains, “The No Flights For Terrorists Act, would put any individual including: students, faculty, professors, or paid agitators, on the No-Fly List if they have called for violence against Jewish people, pledged allegiance to US-designated Foreign Terrorist Organizations, or have been subject to disciplinary action by the institution of higher education related to such action.”

It adds, “This legislative action comes in response to the continued antisemitic, pro-Hamas protests and encampments that have wreaked violence and chaos on college campuses nationwide.” Blackburn has also called for campus protesters to have their student loans revoked and supports a separate bill that would prevent the activists from having federal student loans relieved.

Sen. Marshall said, “Hamas terrorist sympathizers don’t just hate Israel, they hate America and everything we stand for. These radical Marxists who are doing Hamas’ bidding across the country on college campuses, threatening the safety of our Jewish students and communities, should be treated the same way we treat the terrorist organization.”
