Have you heard about the famous city in the rock of Petra? So that's not him in the photo๐Ÿ˜„

The photo shows the city of Hegra, built by the Nabataean state in the first century AD. It is the second largest city of civilization after Petra. But far from the last even of the surviving ones.

Children's blizzard
The event known as the Great Blizzard of 1888 swept across the United States as a natural disaster, and this blizzard became one of the strongest described snowstorms in the history of America.

On January 12, 1888, the weather was quite warm for winter. Thousands of American schoolchildren went to classes in T-shirts. Nothing seemed to portend trouble ... however, suddenly the weather changed dramatically.

By evening, the temperature dropped to -40ยฐWith and on the street, a heavy snowstorm began. According to some reports, 235 people died from frostbite in the period of January 12-13, 1888.

The practicality of the people of the past is sometimes frightening.

The photo shows the bones of people of the 15th century. Archaeologists believe that they were taken out of the graves to free up space in the cemetery. Well, so that the material does not disappear, the bones were used in the construction of St. John's Church in Belgium.

This day in history is the coronation of Elizabeth II.

It happened on June 2 already in 1953. At that time, Elizabeth was 27. Now, the cheerful old lady is 96, and she doesn't even think about giving up. We wish the Queen a long life.

Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard? Or maybe a pig trial is better?

Unfortunately, this seemingly ridiculous statement has too sad a story. In the Middle Ages, there were cases when a pig ate a small child left unattended. In France alone, from the 12th to the 15th century, animals were tried about 100 times. In 1386, in Normandy, a pig that ate a baby was cut off a piece of a wing, dressed in human clothes and hanged by a court decision.

Mummies, sarcophagus and Wonders of the World are great.

But no less important and interesting part of the story is the usual drawing of a child from Ancient Egypt at the age of 2000 years.
