Today I saw a very useful Chrome extension called Sider AI.

Join us for the Cursor Hackathon – Eastern Ethiopia, co-hosted by Haramaya University and Dire Dawa University in collaboration with Oda Bultum, and Jigjiga Universities. This will be our biggest hackathon yet, uniting talented students to collaborate, innovate, and create impactful solutions.
We are also happy to announce that M-Pesa is sponsoring this hackathon. As part of the challenge, participants will integrate the M-Pesa API into their projects and develop solutions that incorporate M-Pesa as a payment gateway.
The hackathon will take place on March 27 and 28 at Haramaya University. For participants traveling from partner universities, transportation will be arranged and buses will be provided to travel to Haramaya.

Attackers can clone someone’s voice using AI and call friends or family asking for money or passwords. This uses technology known as Voice Cloning.
📷 QR Code Phishing (Quishing)
Hackers hide fake login pages inside QR codes. When scanned, they steal your passwords. This attack is called Quishing.

Criminals create fake AI videos of managers or public figures asking for payments or sensitive data using Deepfake technology.
📱 SIM Swap Attacks
Hackers transfer your phone number to their SIM card to intercept verification codes. This is known as SIM swapping.
