The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) rejects and strongly condemns the announcement made by the separatist administration in the "Somaliland" region regarding mutual recognition with the criminal Zionist entity. We consider this a serious precedent and an unacceptable attempt to gain false legitimacy from a fascist entity that occupies the land of Palestine, the first Qibla of Muslims, is involved in war crimes and genocide, and faces increasing international isolation.

We affirm our complete rejection of the occupation's plans to forcibly displace our people, including the use of "Somaliland" as a destination for the people of Gaza.

The resort of the war criminal Netanyahu's government to recognize a separatist administration in Somaliland reflects the depth of the international isolation under which the Zionist entity suffers, as a result of the genocidal crimes it has committed against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. This necessitates strengthening this isolation both popularly and officially, continuing international efforts to besiege it, and holding its leaders accountable for their crimes against humanity.

We appreciate the positions of the Arab and Islamic countries that condemned this dangerous behavior violating international law, as it undermines the unity and sovereignty of Somalia. We warn against the malicious Zionist policies aimed at fragmenting Arab countries, destabilizing them, and interfering in their internal affairs, serving the colonial Zionist project.
