We condemn in the strongest terms the criminal escalation by the Zionist enemy, which targeted the heart of the Lebanese capital this evening, in continuation of targeting Lebanon's sovereignty and territory, which has been ongoing for a year since the ceasefire agreement.

The aggressive raid that targeted a residential area in the southern suburb of Beirut today, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of many, is a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and a blatant challenge to international norms and conventions.

These violations are an extension of a long record of war crimes and thousands of violations committed by the Zionist enemy.

It is regrettable that this dangerous escalation, which aims to consecrate total chaos in Lebanon and the region, is met with a kind of political complicity in adopting the discourse of disarmament of the resistance, which is a goal that would weaken Lebanon, undermine its security and stability, which has been maintained by the equation of the army, people, and resistance throughout the past period.

While we renew our solidarity with Lebanon, state and people, and affirm the legitimate right to resistance and response to aggression, we call on Arab and Islamic regimes to fulfill their religious and historical duties and responsibilities in the face of the open Zionist attack on the entire nation.
