๐Ÿดโ€โ˜ ๏ธ๐Ÿ”ดIsraeli journalist Avi Ashkenazi of the Hebrew-language Ma'ariv newspaper:

Rafah was captured twice, and buildings were razed to the ground. But it turned out that Hamas cells are still fighting the Israeli army.

Rafah, like other parts of Gaza, proves once again that Hamas has not been defeated until the last fighter, until the last gun, until the last explosive device. Instead, it has simply changed its combat style, turning to guerrilla warfare against a massive army and targeting its weaknesses.

๐Ÿดโ€โ˜ ๏ธ๐Ÿ”ดDetails of the killing of 4 Israeli soldiers in Rafah:

The operation took place in the Janina neighborhood, east of Rafah, an area the occupation has been infiltrating for about a year and a half. The officers targeted were cadets who had been operating in Rafah for the past three weeks, conducting raids and demolishing buildings.

An armored D9 bulldozer was leading a force that included two uncovered Hummer vehicles. The bulldozer advanced while paving the way for the two Humvees behind it. Around 9:30 a.m., at the end of the military tour, one of the Hummer vehicles deviated from its course, moving off track either to the right or left. At that moment, the resistance detonated a powerful explosive device beneath the vehicle, killing four officers and wounding three others, one critically.

The army has stated that it will conduct a thorough investigation of the incident. According to army estimates, several dozen Palestinian fighters remain in Rafah. A high-ranking source in the occupationโ€™s security system added that the resistance in Rafah operates using quick exits from underground tunnel openings, some of which had been previously destroyed and later rebuilt by Resistance.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ”ดThe United States has revoked Indiaโ€™s sanctions waiver for operations at Iranโ€™s Chabahar Port.

The waiver, granted in 2018, will officially expire on September 29, 2025. After this date, Indian operators and companies engaged in Chabahar may face US sanctions, Washington says the move is part of its maximum pressure campaign against Iran.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ”ดThe U.S. has opposed Iraqโ€™s plan to import natural gas from Turkmenistan via Iran.

In 2023, Baghdad signed a deal with Ashgabat to bring 5 billion cubic meters of gas annually through Iranian pipelines, but the plan collapsed after Washington refused approval due to sanctions on Iran. Iraqi officials say the restrictions have worsened the countryโ€™s energy crisis, leaving power plants short of fuel, while Iraq remains heavily dependent on Iranian gas and electricity despite U.S. pressure to diversify.
