Now John Locke and his followers, they'll preach and they'll plead,
That "all men are equal," a dangerous creed!
A lie that was written on a parchment so fine,
To poison the well and to sever the vine.
For nineteen in twenty need a guide and a hand;
They're children, not sovereigns, in this promised new land.
And to leave them to "freedom" is the cruelest of fates;
It's the law of the jungle at the factory gates.

I've seen the word "wagie" bandied around a lot lately, but didn't know until recently what it denoted. For anyone still confounded, it means an individual who has a remunerative occupation, but the word also harbors a negative connotation and is used as a pejorative. The more you know!
THE Philosopher
The only things that are really yours are your decisions.
"But my body is mine."
The one that will decay away and die regardless of your will? In what sense is this "ownership" if you have so little control?
