Reddit and 4Chan are both websites with the end of content sharing, but Reddit's culture where democratically popular ideas are spread and 4Chan's culture where ideas that are reacted to generally the most are spread incentivize radically different behavior from their users. We see here at once the influencing power of technique, a sign that we ought to adopt new techniques carefully.
