CNBC wants us to believe that you need more than $380k a year to live a good life. Lol
From @warteye:
There's a story out there that goes like this.
A businessman sees a fisherman laying about in the sun after the day's catch. Astounded at the man's laziness, he goes up to him and asks, "What are you doing my good fellow? Why aren't you out there right now fishing?"
Fisherman: "I've already caught my day's catch."
Businessman: "But if you go catch more fish, you can save some money, and then work really hard and invest in another fishing boat and crew, and then keep doing so for a long time, years and years perhaps, and then you can have lots of fishing vessels working for you to fish for you."
F: "Why would I do that?"
B: "So then you can go about and enjoy your day and life, of course!"
F: "What do you think I'm doing right now?"
