✍️ Here are the most important points you have to know if you are an undergraduate program (BSc or BA) student!
👉 What is Semester Load?
✍️ is the total ECTS, or credit hours, for a full-time regular student per semester.
✍️ Minimum of 25 ECTS or 15 credit hours.
✍️ Maximum of 35 ECTS or 22 credit hours, unless stated in the course catalogue/curriculum.
👉 What is Underload?
✍️ if one student is registered for below 25 ECTS or 15 credit hours.
👉 What is Overload?
✍️ if one student is registered for above 35 ECTS or 22 credit hours, unless stated in the course catalogue/curriculum.
👉 What does it mean when we say a prerequisite course?
✍️ a course that must have been taken prior to enrolling/registering for another specific course.
✍️ For Example:
👇 Communicative English Language Skill I
is a prerequisite course for
👇 Communicative English Language Skill Il
👉 What is Course Dropping?
✍️ is not enrolling/registering for one or more specific course/courses.
#WHY? Due to different reasons.

👉 What is Course Adding?
✍️ is a mechanism of enrolling/registering for one or more specific remaining courses until you reach the semester maximum load!
#WHY? Due to different reasons.
✍️ For Example:
👇 If you dropped the course Communicative English Language Skill II due to your "F" grade in the prerequisite,
you can add/enroll in another course in place of your Communicative English Language Skill II with your prior or next batch!
👉 What is Course Repeating?

#What will happen if one student scores F after repeating the course twice?
👉 Why is one student forced to drop a specific course?
✍️ if a student obtains an "F" grade in a prerequisite course.
✍️ For Example:
👇 If a student obtains an "F" grade in Communicative English Skill I, a student is forced to drop Communicative English Language Skill II.

🤔What does NG (No Grade) mean?
✍️ You may have scored 90/100; however, your grade will be "NG"!
👇 Here is why plus solutions!
👉 If a student missed class attendences more than 15%! leads to NG.
Note!:
✍️ Some programs may demand 100% class attendance!
✍️ Some portions, like laboratory and field experiences, may not allow 15% non-attendance!
👉 If a student misses continuous assessments or the final examination, which leads to NG!
✅ Solution:
1. Strong evidence-based and valid reasons for Incomplete Attendance (IA) and Missed Final Exam!
2. It must be changed into "F" for status determination.
🤝 Final Note! The % of IA may differ based on the senate legislation of the universities!

1️⃣. If you get ”Letter grade A” in Course-1 with Credit Hour =5, your Grade Point of Course-1 is 5*4=20!
2️⃣. If you get ”Letter grade A” in Course-2 with Credit Hour =4, your Grade Point of Course-2 is 4*4=16!
3️⃣. If you get ”Letter grade A-” in Course-3 with Credit Hour =5, your Grade Point of Course-3 is 5*3.75=18.75!
4️⃣. If you get ”Letter grade B” in Course-4 with Credit Hour =5, your Grade Point of Course-4 is 5*3=15!
……..
Simply, the Grade Point for a Single Course = Course's Credit Hours multiplied by Grade Point of the Letter Grade you Scored!
Now, find the Sum of the Grade points of the Whole Courses you learned in each Semester.
✅ Divide each semester's Total Grade Point by the Total Number of Credit Hours in that Semester. i.e, your Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA).
🫵🏾For Example:
Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA) = (GP of Course-1 + GP of Course-2 + GP of Course-3 + GP of Course-4 + ...+ GP of Course-n) divided by Total Credit Hours of Semester (n courses credit hours)
✅ Add each semester’s (Two Semesters for Freshman) Total Grade Point and Divide the Total by the Total Number of Credit Hours in your two Semesters. i.e, your Cumulative Average Number Grade (CANG)
🫵🏾For Example,
Cumulative Average Number Grade (CANG) = (Total GP of Semester-I + Total GP of Semester-II ) divided by Total Credit Hours of Two Semesters!
That is it!
