All applicants registered to take the National Graduate Admission Test (NGAT) at the Dire Dawa University Exam Center are informed that the exam will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025 (Tikimt 3, 2018 E.C.), in the morning from 2:00 โ 5:30 local time.
Please check your name and section from the attached list and arrive on time.
Important Notices and Prohibitions
*Bring National /an acceptable ID along with your NGAT Admission Ticket.
*Candidates arriving 30 minutes after the test starts will not be allowed to take the exam.
*No student can take the exam without a username and password.
It is not allowed to sit for the exam outside the assigned room.
*Do not bring any electronic device to the exam center.
Electronic devices such as mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, or similar gadgets are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.

โ๏ธ The Ministry of Education corrected the nomenclature of 147 academic programs to only 54 academic programs in different universities of Ethiopia.
๐ค What does this mean?
โ Academic programs with closely related names are merged into one program and will be given as one single program starting from the 2018 E.C./2025 G.C. academic year.
๐ For Example:
1. Information Science
2. Library Science
3. Information Management and Service are 3 different closely related academic programs and merged into one specific program called Information Science.
๐ค When will this be applied?

The university said that it has been noted that false information is being spread on social media regarding the call of new incoming students at Dire Dawa University.
The office of registrar said that the university has not made any call regarding new incoming students, and the date of admission for students will be announced soon.
Addionally, the office of registrar mentioned that, announcement and similar calls will be published on the official social media of the university.
