However, before we dive into the steps to become a Rubi Network validator it's important to understand why you should be a validator for the Network.

1. Validators help to keep the network KYC verification safer.
2. Validators help to improve overall efficiency of the KYC verification system making the process faster.
3. Currently, #Rubi Network experiences a large volume and influx of miners as well as KYC verification requests leading to a large number of backlogs of unattended KYC due to the limited number of KYC validators. Applying to and becoming a validator will help the system clear off backlogs, help verify your fellow community members and improve their trust and participation, while remaining relevant to the ecosystem as a contributor.
4. Validator rewards. As a #Rubi Network Validator you will be rewarded in crypto every Sunday afternoon (UTC time to be announced)
5. Rubi Network uses proof of contribution or proof of participation algorithm. It would be an extra opportunity, beyond mining to participate in a more deeper ecosystem activity.

2. You must have your KYC verified before you can be accepted into the Validator program. Therefore, once you get a system invitation, endeavor to complete your verification process quicker. Refer to our other posts on how to avoid KYC mistakes and how to quicken your KYC invitation.
3. You will be ready to accept training in the process and granted access to the function.
4. You will read and understand the information security commitments and undergo a short training and accept the Validator terms of operation and policy. If you are a validator, you will be granted access and perform verification work on your mobile phone.
5. This is a part-time flexible job, you get paid based on your performance and are paid in digital assets.
6. You have the right to request to stop participating in the KYC program at any time.
