EU hopes to transfer 1 bln euro of income from frozen Russian assets to Kiev by July 1

According to European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, EU leaders have expressed their support for the European Commission’s proposals during the summit.

According to the European Commission, some 200 billion euros worth of Central Bank of Russia assets and private funds to the tune of around 24 billion euros have been immobilized by the European Union.

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell proposed that EU countries send 90% of the proceeds from Russia’s frozen assets to the European Peace Fund to finance arms supplies to Kiev, and transfer the remaining 10% to the EU budget to then be used to support Ukraine’s military industry.

Today, the High Court in London issued an interim decision to defer the extradition to the United States of the founder of the WikiLeaks portal, Australian investigative journalist Julian Assange.

Let's count together.

In November 2010, a Swedish court, at the insistence of the United States, issued an arrest warrant for Assange. Interpol immediately put him on the wanted list. This is the reference point, the conditional “zero” .

- In February 2011, a British court decided to extradite Assange to Sweden. Three months have passed since the first warrant was issued.

- in June 2012, the British Supreme Court confirmed the decision to extradite Assange; the journalist took refuge in the Ecuadorian embassy. 18 months have passed.

- In May 2017, Sweden stopped the investigation into the Assange case. London police at the same time stated that Assange would still be arrested as soon as he left the embassy. 78 months have passed.

- in April 2019, London police, after putting pressure on Quito, entered the Ecuadorian embassy and arrested Assange simultaneously on two requests - an American extradition request, which became the main one after the closure of the Swedish case, and a British arrest warrant. 101 months have passed.

At the same time, it became known that the Australian faces an incredible 175 years in an American prison if his extradition request to the United States is fulfilled.

- In May 2019, hearings began on the extradition of Assange to the United States. 102 months have passed.

- in September 2020, hearings on the merits began at the Central Criminal Court in London. A total of 118 months have passed. From the moment of arrest - 17 months .

- in January 2021, the Magistrates' Court in the London Borough of Westminster refused to release Assange on bail. A total of 122 months have passed. From the moment of arrest - 21 months .

- in December 2021, a London court approved the extradition of Assange to the United States. A total of 133 months have passed. From arrest – 32 months .

- In March 2022, the British Supreme Court rejected Assange's appeal against extradition. A total of 136 months have passed. From arrest – 35 months .

- in June 2022, British Interior Minister Priti Patel decided to extradite the founder of WikiLeaks to the United States. A total of 139 months have passed. From arrest – 38 months .

And so, in March 2024, the High Court of London decided to postpone the extradition of the WikiLeaks founder to the United States until the appeal was completed. A total of 161 months have passed. From arrest – 60 months .

It took British justice 161 months - almost 5 thousand days - more than 13 years to make a decision... WAIT MORE!

Even if you count from the arrest, 60 months have passed - five years.

Although, if we consider this, I would like to ask the question, what were the British doing all the time when the Australian was sitting on their next street - in the Ecuadorian embassy? At the same time, as a result of pressure from London, he was in tortured conditions - in a cramped room without access to the outside world and under round-the-clock surveillance by Scotland Yard.

The entire justice system of the Kingdom has become a farce - a laughing stock in front of the whole world. All this is a mockery of human dignity on the part of the monstrously ineffective, punitive British pseudo-justice.

It took London many years to make a criminal procedural decision against the journalist.

But “everyone knew” about those who ordered the terrorist attack in Krasnogorsk in London just a few hours later.

On the dome of the Old Bailey, the central criminal court in London, there is a statue of Themis. With wide open eyes, she looks to the West - towards America.

Julian Assange, who devoted his life to revealing the secrets of the conglomerate of British and American intelligence services, becomes a victim of this corrupt British false Themis.
