My J6 Diary:

The day before Jan 6 I attended the pre-rally at Freedom Square. All that happened was Gospel singing, speeches, and walking around on a beautiful sunny day. I was surprised at the amount of Trump Bling available to buy. I was tapped on my elbow while standing in the crowd, and when I turned around, a woman said, " You never met me but you saved me when I had COVID." She and her family were visiting from Nebraska and so we walked around together and then left before the curfew for dinner. When I got back to the hotel, the Washington news channels were showing a completely different scene-- rioters throwing molotov cocktails and waging street battles after dark. But there was a curfew in DC that night. Visitors were in their hotels. We were miles away outside the beltway. People texted me from all over the country asking if I was ok, and I kept trying to explain that none of that happened to the people that came for the rally. It was TV theater. The next day, Jan 6, I walked around in my AFLDS coat, with a couple USMC veterans I met at the hotel bar party the night before. We stood for hours in the cold to listen to President Trump, then walked to the mall. There were huge groups of Chinese Trump supporters with anti CCP gear on, Vietnamese Trump supporters and other from former communist countries. Most of us in the speech and out walking were over 50 yo, but we walked past obvious black clad rabble rousers whom no one was paying attention to. The pace slowed to a crawl near the Capitol as the peaceful crowd made its way from the reflecting pool to the Capitol steps. It was like attending a museum exhibit. We had to wait for people to leave the steps before we could move up. I had people take selfies with me. Chatted. Heard nothing but calm conversation. I saw police in yellow vests on the Capitol balcony chatting with civilians. We left at 4 pm because we didnt want to get trapped by the curfew and because my LtCol friend said he was starting to get a tingling on the back of his neck like something was going to go bad. So we left for the subway by walking through a sea of police cars with lights flashing and a couple armoured vehicles-- all so closely packed together on Virginia Ave they couldn't have responded to an emergency without an hour of untangling. It was only when we got back to the hotel bar that we knew there was anything more that had happened. The scariest part to me was the media effect on people not present at J6. The stage play was being carried out inside the Capitol before we arrived (because we were still listening to Trump's speech). But from media manipulation, a person in my small hometown in the Midwest, when he heard I had attended told me I should be arrested. Mind control by media is a dangerous fact. As the Soviets used to say about Stalin's terror, " You know it's true when it happens to you". And tragically my USMC vet friend died 6 mo later-- from the effects of the Vaxx he was coerced into taking to keep his job. We are in the Truman Show but here there are 8.5 million of us unwitting actors and maybe 300 in the control booth. I think I see a way out of this. 👇👇👇
