to fertility,

Look into the eyes.
How many truly see you?
How many are present?

Why inflate the count?
Because a being
who believes himself one among eight billion
falls silent.
He accepts scarcity,
surveillance,

facial recognition,
mass campaigns
and the narrative of overpopulation.
