Before Chavez, Mexican migrant workers came across the border legally and illegally, to work the fields for a decent wage. They could make enough in a season to support a family in Mexico all year. At the end of picking season they WENT BACK HOME.

Then Cesar Chavez organized the farm labor in AZ. They ( Chavez and thugs) limited the number of workers by going to the Mexican border with bats and beat up border crossers. And at the end they created a system of middle men who bring workers in busses across the border daily to work the fields. These middlemen supply food water and porta- potties, get the documents and bring migrants to farmers…and get rich. The workers don’t make the money they used to— it goes to pay the middleman.

So how does this relate to Cyclospora? The middlemen supply the toilet facilities rather than the local farmer. The laborers get paid per box packed so they don’t want to take time to walk to a distant porta- potty. So poop on ground= cyclospora passes into lettuce field, parasite finds new hosts, Cyclospora legacy assured.

My physician friend was a migrant worker ftom Mexico before getting an education and MD from U of AZ. He told me how Caesar Chavez ruined the incomes of the field workers and made middlemen rich. But you won’t hear this today. At U of AZ the economic building is named for Caesar Chavez. Maybe it needs renaming as the Cyclospora Economic Building.

Me: If you can give me an example where the public health folks actually made a positive difference in any public health problem, I will be surprised. They lied about flu deaths by redefining flu. They never figured out the e-Coli outbreak in Oregon, until the perpetrators confessed. Instead they blamed it on an innocent chef who became the real victim. They convince you of the need for vaccines by misrepresenting risk data. They don’t really question the potential for fraud or bioweapons being employed because they are in on the scam.

I do not remember one time in my long career that the CDC Public health people solved anything. Perhaps they could be credited with figuring out legionnaire’s disease. But… thats assuming it is not a manmade bioweapon. And there is evidence to suggest that it is. Dittos Lyme disease. Seen any benefit from Public Health on syphilis, AIDS, or Chagas disease getting into our blood supply? They don’t tell you that over 60 million Americans are infected with Toxoplasmosis and often in the brain. Toxoplasmosis is the parasite most commonly associated with schizophrenia, OCD, addictive disorder, and depression.

If public health authorities were doing their job, Anericans would all have parasite medicine in their homes and doing routine anti-Parasite prophylaxis and treatment. And they would know about the problem and the home cure. People could have stopped cyclospora in its tracks if they hadn’t been purposely kept ignorant for 100 years.

The ostensible reason for the Rockefeller Institute of Medical Research being created ~ 1920 was to combat the big disease of the day— Hookworm, a parasite.
