How beekeeping improves longevity
1. Frequency — exposure to the frequency of a healthy beehive has been to reduce chronically elevated cortisol levels and is being studied as a potential treatment for PTSD, anxiety, and depression
2. Venom — bee venom has been shown to be preventative of cancer cell replication, can reduce systemic inflammation, and has been shown to protect against telomere degradation
3. Air — breathing the air inside of beehives allows the volatile organic compounds from the wax, propolis, and honey to be absorbed by the lungs, which has been shown to improve respiratory immunity and directly destroy several staph strains of bacteria including MRSA
4. Honey — honey has the potential to be a therapeutic agent against oxidative stress. Some studies have shown honey to have nootropic effects and slow cognitive decline
