So looking around, it was named by a bacteriologist born 1914, William Ewing who has no easy family history to find. Then James Ewing born 1866 of a famous Judge and 4 siblings, but zero family history past thst. And he was clearly a chosen man who became famous for founding Radiation Oncology 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻at a time cancer was rare. Same names but rather opposite sides of the cancer issue and no traceable background. I smell some weird connection but maybe just a coincidence. But as more time passes less and less things look coincidental.
