In 1978 I was the first female to complete 3rd class navy Diving School. We started with 65 people and 19 completed the course. One of them was John Wayne Powers SGT USMC, Recon Marine. I knew him personally for 6 weeks of my life. A few years later he died in a parachuting training accident. I think of him every week of my life. He exemplified everything noble in the spirit of this country.

Everyone has to pick a “belief-side” of this time in space. This is mine. If I’m wrong— well then I’m wrong. But i’ve done what I can do to get the facts, improve the world around me, research and read things for years and listen to my “instincts”—AKA heart connection to God.

I choose to believe there are honorable tough men willing to risk their lives to right our world with God’s spirit. Because I have known them.

So here we are. I honor those who have lost their lives this week trying to expel the evil, and pray for those defending our Embassies, our borders and our people. I am sorry for damage in Dubai and other places. And although I have concerns about bloodlines in control of this world, and I don’t have any knowledge of the intelligence that led to this recent military action, I don’t think the world is devoid of good guys. And maybe— just maybe, when no one was paying attention…the good guys became the ones in charge.
