Dr. Karen Leader, who teaches at Florida Atlantic University, posted nonstop about Charlie’s death, mocking him instead of showing respect.

I am lying in bed where I have a Sunnex tensor lamp for reading. My cat came up and was sitting on my chest for his morning love fest and I started mindlessly gazing at the dust in the light beam. Then I started noticing tiny tiny blinking lights in the dust. They always are bi-lobed and are a small fraction of particles. Also I noticed that the motion of the particles in general moved like schools of fish, but occasionally one would go counter to all the rest— ie swim against the current. I’m trying to come up with a rational explanation here but I keep coming back to “Smart Dust”? AKA MEMS.

I tried to capture on video but too hard to see. When you look at it live 99% of dust particles are what you would expect. Occasional fiber. Very tiny but not all the same. Only seen in reflected light of the lamp. Then one comes by with perfectly regular fast blinking. And it’s like two attached mini blinkers. WTH???
