BROOKLYN, NYC, New York
A manhole explosion was captured on video on Thursday afternoon in Bushwick, Brooklyn.
The explosion happened at 5:21 p.m. on Central Avenue between Myrtle Avenue and Stockholm Street.
There was a firefighter standing nearby because the FDNY was on scene investigating reports of elevated carbon monoxide levels.
Two manhole covers blew in the fire.
No injuries were reported.

I had never heard of the “Dead Internet Theory” but saw this meme on the Wagner site which says, “ I heard about the theory of the dead internet and am here to finish it off.” The joke refers to Dmitri Medvedev lighting up the conversations by using dark humor and plain plus colorful language to comment on current events. He is the epitomy of the guy who causes proper old ladies to fan themselves and gasp in shock at his remarks. I love him. But it caused me to look up the Dead Internet Theory and heres an excerpt of the google answer which is quite interesting. “In 2016, the security firm Imperva released a report on bot traffic after examining over 16.7 billion visits to 100,000 randomly-selected domains, and found that automated programs were responsible for 52% of web traffic.[29][30] This report has been used as evidence in reports on the dead Internet theory.[2]”
