Virginia St is currently closed in both directions just east of Willow after a sinkhole formed in the road.
City officials say crews are on-site and working diligently to excavate and repair the issue.
Officials say Virginia St will stay closed until at least Wednesday.

I don’t usually post so much of this, but its becoming more overt and even in rural US the UV lights being seen. Its worrisome when they show up in gov buildings, rich peoples’ houses or military housing. Not to be afraid. But be advised to pay attention to what may be happening and have at least a minimum of prep. Isn’t hard to put a good UV flashlight in your car for example.

A sinkhole opened up in the backyard of a home in Lackawanna Co on Sunday.
It was just after 4:00 p.m. when the Dunmore FD responded to a call for a 12 to 14-wide by 40 feet deep sinkhole that opened up in the backyard of a house along the 14 hundred block of College Ave.
State officials with the Department of Environmental Protection have been called to investigate the sinkhole.
The homeowner did not want to talk on camera but told Newswatch 16 they are being advised not to stay in the home after the sinkhole opened up.
