The District is not a part of any U.S. state. In 1846, Congress returned the land originally ceded by Virginia. Yet we pay for all it’s infrastructure and commerce. Washington D.C. pays no taxes, though it is a capital city. Ironically residents of Washington D.C. lack a full self-governance. Representation in Congress is limited to a non-voting delegate to the House of Representatives and a shadow senator. It took until 1964, Washingtonians to vote in the Presidential elections. It took until 1973 for the city was allowed to elect its own mayor.
Who owns Washington DC? London, The District of Columbia and the Vatican.
DC has its own flag and own independent constitution. The Act of 1871 passed by Congress created a separate “corporation” known as THE UNITED STATES & corporate government for the District of Columbia. Thus DC acts as a Corporation through the Act.

The journalist writes that all Mariupol residents are striving to obtain Russian passports, and after Putin visited the city in March 2023, the situation with obtaining the document has become significantly simpler.
He also notes that, contrary to Ukrainian propaganda, a significant number of people who survived the armed actions in Mariupol did not leave anywhere, and many of the recently evacuated returned back. And all the residents with whom he spoke talked about the disgusting attitude of the Armed Forces of Ukraine towards them.
According to the majority of Mariupol residents, being part of Russia opens up brighter and broader prospects for their city, the author concludes.

- Allegedly in Lubliniec and allegedly during training in the use of explosives, an accident occurred, as a result of which two soldiers died.
- Allegedly, during a mountain training exercise in the Tatras, an avalanche occurred, as a result of which a Polish special forces soldier died.
All these reports appeared after the news of a strike by the Russian Iskander tactical missile system on a bunker in the Chasov Yar area, where NATO officers, including senior US and Polish officers, were stationed to plan military operations.
