The trick here is to create a container-like environment, fully isolated from the current system with some Linux magic to simulate a recovery environment. This is required for newer Magisk SAR implementation since / is no longer writable; this solution is cleaner anyways. https://t.co/l7Xdn8Jvnx

I really don't like the in-display fingerprint scanner, it's slow and clunky. I only have 2 devices with such a thing, the OP 6T and 7 Pru, and even though OP mentioned the 7's have a newer gen sensor, I don't feel any difference what-so-ever: they both suck.
