After a nice code pairing session with @jossiwolf for @snappmobile_io hackday we managed to build a "working" mockup of my app "5217" home screen using Jetpack Compose.
Definitely something to invest in since it's WAY less code.

I set up Pi-hole on my Raspberry Pi 1 a few days ago now that I don't need a setup box for "cable" tv anymore. Such a bliss to browse the internet like this.
Check it out if you want to have some "hackerman" fun.

What's happening in the US is outrageous. Democracy shouldn't ever be tampered with. It's a core value of our society. #Election2020

I have to admit I overestimated the amount of "free time" when co-parenting a small baby while having a job in the middle of a pandemic. Super thankful to be able to see & help with a toddlers growth while having a job, but I do miss some time to work on my own apps :)

Totally agree with this thread. I fee like Oxygen's style and identity got lost since they basically cherry-picked Samsung. Which is a bit sad it definitely looks generic now. Again it looks like a business decision and not product related at all. https://twitter.com/osm0sis_xda/status/1329509859071504384

OnePlus' aspirations always seem pretty obvious in their hardware designs of late (leaning very Samsung), but they're totally laid bare in OxygenOS 11. Where OOS used to keep a more stock Pixel look there are now obvious visual style cues from both Xiaomi…

Few things after a couple days:
* it's the smoothest OP device I've held. Maybe because of the lower resolution? It's just perfect 120hz everywhere
* glad they removed the curved display
* I prefer the new glass back, way less slippery
* camera is a bit better than the 8 Pru

I'm at that point where I normally sleep 3-5 hours a night and it's enough energy to be productive, but if I sleep an extra 1-2 hours I'll have an headache for the entire day.
Having 2 jobs + co-parenting the entire day isn't easy.
Not complaining, just sharing 🤗
