The opening to a new story I'm writing. It's called "Across the Asphalt Sea."

Draft of a poem I'm frustrated with. I can't quite get the ending right.

I started this poem a while ago, but decided that I just couldn't get the lines to match up. I decided that I was trying to say too much, and sought to remedy this by writing something only four lines long.

No theme today.
