If you want to buy, check what's above you first. Is there a major resistance level sitting 30 pips away? That level is going to fight your trade. Your TP might not get there. You might get stopped out on the rejection.
If you want to sell, check what's below you. Is there strong support sitting between your entry and your target? The same problem applies.
The best trades have clear air between entry and target. No major levels fighting the move. Price can flow freely to your TP without battling through zones along the way.
Before every entry today ask yourself — what's in the way?
If the answer is nothing, you have a clean trade. If the answer is a major level, reconsider.
