This week the Fed rate conversation shifted gold significantly. If you don't know what's on the economic calendar before a session, you're walking into the market blind.
Here's what I check every morning before | look at a single chart.
Is there a Fed speech today? Any CPl or NFP data? Any geopolitical headlines that could override structure?
If high impact news is due, I either reduce my size significantly or I wait until after the release to look for clean setups,
The best technical setup in the world gets invalidated in seconds by the wrong news at the wrong time,
