"The Happy Warrior"

Someone recently called me "The Happy Warrior." I try to keep this in the forefront of my mind when travel snafus occur...

Tonight, I'm racing through the Charlotte airport to make a connection because someone lost the gas cap on our plane, delaying its departure by two hours.

I'm not kidding.

But as I'm racing along the moving sidewalk with less than a smile on my face, someone traveling in the opposite direction cries, "It's Dr Frank! Hi, Dr Frank. You don't know me. Nice to see you!"

And a big smile returns to my face.

I've now met in-person with about 100,000 people across America. That's about 1/30 of a percent.

For every 3,000 people I encounter, I would have met one of them.

Cool.
