Now back to the match. The 89th minute — our team scores a goal. And what happens? The referee runs to VAR again. Seriously, every five minutes it was VAR. Even if the goalkeeper had farted or spat on the grass, they would’ve gone to check it and probably handed out another red card.
I’m honestly furious about this game. The referee and his crew were clearly scared of the sports delegation, afraid of being suspended from future matches. Meanwhile, the players from both teams were actually trying — making mistakes, creating chances so the visitors could score and win. But eventually they gave up too, seeing this circus, and just played out the final minutes carefully so no questions would be asked about them either — because they could also be banned from football.
