Why COC are contraindicated in The following causes?!

1- Epilepsy: due to drugs interaction (decrease effect of anti epileptic drugs).
2- TB: also drugs interaction with rifampicin
3-migraine: due to side effecs, high risk of stroke due E is increasing of clotting factors
4-optic neuritis: d/t occlusion of branches of the retinal artery
5- Otosclerosis -COCs have effect on the bone metabolism of the ear ossicles mainly stapes this become thickened and fuses finally.
6-SEL: is prone to dangerous to blood clot as DVT and PE
Also estrogen is increasing blood clotting

7-DM- E+P are anti insuline lead to increase resistance of insuline so that got hyperglycaemia
8- AF : decrease effect of Warfarin.

-Avoid to give Drospirenone, Estradiol that are called YASEmEEn with Aspirin or NSAID.. because they ll lead to heperkalemia... Dys arrhythmia.

-Advice to give Vit. B6 to women who use COC... why?!
becaues COC lead to mood change,and VitB6 stimulate Dopa decarboxylase enzyme that release dopamine that improve the mood.
