پیش از آنکه زمان ناگهان بر تو هجوم آورد،
از لحظه‌های زندگی لذت ببر و شادی را به تأخیر نینداز.
ای انسان دانا، بدان که همه چیز در این دنیا گذراست.
روزی از خاک آمده‌ایم و روزی دوباره به خاک بازمی‌گردیم.
عمر مانند رودخانه‌ای روان در حال گذر است.
بنابراین تا فرصت باقی است، زندگی کن و از بودن خود آگاه باش.
مرگ هیچ‌کس را استثنا نکرده است.
هیچ انسانی نتوانسته از این جهان با چیزی از دارایی‌ها و افتخاراتش عبور کند.
زندگی را ساده و آرام سپری کن.
خواسته‌های بی‌پایان انسان هیچ‌گاه به پایان نمی‌رسند.
به اخلاق نیک و منش خوب خود پایبند باش.
اجازه نده تعریف یا سرزنش دیگران آرامش تو را بر هم بزند.
اگر دوستی، محبتی، لبخندی یا لحظه‌ای زیبا در زندگی داری،
آن را قدر بدان و در اندوه گذشته و نگرانی آینده غرق نشو.
این دنیا اقامتگاهی همیشگی نیست.
چند روزی مهمان آن هستیم و سپس راه خود را ادامه خواهیم داد.

عمر کوتاه‌تر از آن است که در حسرت گذشته بگذرد.
آینده هنوز نیامده و تضمینی برای آن وجود ندارد.
خواسته‌های بی‌پایان انسان هرگز تمام نمی‌شوند.
آرامش در سادگی، اخلاق نیک و زندگی در لحظه است.
تعریف و تمجید مردم همان‌قدر گذراست که سرزنش آنان.
آنچه ارزش دارد، تجربه کردن زندگی با آگاهی و قدردانی از لحظه اکنون است.

Omar Khayyam's Message in Modern English
Before time suddenly descends upon you,
do not postpone joy and the experience of living.
O wise person, understand that everything in this world is temporary.
We came from dust, and one day we shall return to dust.
Life flows like a river that never stops moving.
So while the opportunity remains, live fully and be conscious of your existence.
Death has spared no one.
No human being has ever left this world carrying their possessions, titles, or achievements.
Live simply and peacefully.
The endless desires of the human mind are never completely satisfied.
Hold firmly to good character and integrity.
Do not allow the praise or criticism of others to disturb your inner peace.
If you have friendship, love, laughter, or beautiful moments in your life,
cherish them, and do not lose yourself in regrets about the past or worries about the future.
This world is not a permanent home.
We are here only for a short visit before continuing our journey.
The Essence of Khayyam's Message
Life is too short to be spent regretting the past.
The future has not yet arrived and is never guaranteed.
Human desires are endless and can never be fully satisfied.
Peace is found in simplicity, good character, and living in the present moment.
