Having trouble connecting with SSH WS / VLESS WebSocket (WS)? π
Thatβs normal β some networks block WebSocket traffic because it uses an HTTP/1.1 βUpgradeβ header, which is easy for firewalls to detect and drop. π«
π‘ Solution:
Switch to VLESS gRPC β it runs over HTTP/2, looks like normal HTTPS traffic, and usually passes firewalls with no issues. β

π Why Are There Only 65,536 Ports?
Ever wondered why port numbers go only from 0 to 65,535? π€
Hereβs the simple answer π
π» Each port number is stored as a 16-bit unsigned integer β meaning it can represent values from
0 β 65,535 (2ΒΉβΆ - 1)
That gives us a total of 65,536 possible ports (including port 0, which is reserved).
βοΈ Bonus fact:
You can use the same port number for both TCP and UDP at the same time!
They donβt clash because each protocol keeps its own port table inside the OS.
Example:
TCP 443 β HTTPS
UDP 443 β QUIC (used by Chrome)
So even though the port number is the same, theyβre handled separately. π§
