US Central Command (CENTCOM) has confirmed the implementation of a full blockade on all maritime traffic in and out of Iranian ports and coastal zones, effective Monday, April 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. ET.

The restriction applies uniformly to vessels from every nation moving to or from Iranian ports, covering all Iranian coastal locations along the Arabian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman.

Notably, the Strait of Hormuz remains open for transit—ships bound for or departing from non-Iranian ports will continue to enjoy unrestricted passage.
