Trade commentary for the week:
First off, a very happy new year 2023
Starting the year as we ended it. With a profit. :)
It was a relatively easy expiry today. However we took a contrarian view this time, which paid off.
Crude was down, Bond yields were down, Dollar Index was down. All of it pointed to a bullish market today. However, we sold calls.
Because the most important thing in the market is MARKET POSITIONING. Bank Nifty broke a critical support yesterday with good volume, which meant that selling had started to accumulate.
Wednesday and Thursday have been profit taking days and next week should give a good entry point for positional and swing traders.
