Foreign Alumni of Department of Financial Control and Treasury Receive Diplomas from Russian Ministry of Finance
On July 3, 2024, the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation held a solemn ceremony of awarding diplomas of higher education to foreign alumni of the Department of Financial Control and Treasury.
In a festive atmosphere, bachelor's and master's degrees were awarded to students from Belarus, Mongolia and the Republic of Guinea by the Deputy Head of the Federal Treasury, Head of the Department of Financial Control and Treasury of the Faculty of Finance Eli Isaev.
Congratulating the alumni, the Deputy Head of the Treasury of Russia stressed that during their studies they had passed a difficult but exciting path and gained fundamental knowledge and in-demand skills that open up wide opportunities for a successful career start.

The experts discussed current trends in the development of the Islamic finance industry, the specifics of the integration of classical and Islamic corporate governance, educational initiatives to train specialists in Islamic finance.

FinU and National University of Uzbekistan Graduate First Specialists of Joint Educational Program
The state final certification of students enrolled in the joint educational program of the Faculty of Finance of the FinU and the Faculty of Economics of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek has been completed.
The topics and contents of the graduation thesis reflected the most pressing issues of economy, finance, business in the social sphere (social entrepreneurship, state financial support and tools to stimulate social entrepreneurship, digitalization of social security, public-private partnership in the social sphere, etc.), the insurance market and risk management (development of types of insurance, innovative insurance products, financial assessment of sustainability of insurers, digitalization of business processes of insurers, risk management in organizations, etc.).

Summer School of Russian Language, History and Culture for Slovakian Students at FinU Ends
On July 1, 2024, FinU completed the educational program of the Summer School of Russian Language, History and Culture for students from Slovakia, where they received certificates of completion of their studies.
For two weeks the participants of the Summer School studied the Russian language, history and culture. During this time the students not only successfully attended lectures of leading teachers of our University, but also learnt more about Russian culture and traditions, visited the iconic sights of Moscow and some historical sites of Russia.
