FinExpertiza Cyprus has successfully passed a monitoring visit carried out by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) on behalf of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC).

"ACCA is the sole independent review body upholding audit standards in Cyprus, therefore a successful monitoring visit is, essentially, a quality assurance token on this market. The more so for us, as it’s the second time in a row ACCA has confirmed the quality of our services," explains Michael Hadjihannas, Development Director of FinExpertiza Global in Europe.

The primary purpose of the visit was to monitor the firm’s compliance with International Standard on Quality Control 1 (ISQC 1) and International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) in the conduct of audit work, and the firm’s compliance with the IESBA Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants including International Independence Standards 2018 Edition (2018 Code of Ethics), directly relevant to the audit of annual financial statements. The previous visit took place on 13 February 2015, with FinExpertiza Cyprus also receiving a favourable conclusion of the audit monitoring.
