Encouragement for the Christian and those seeking Christ.

Asking God to "push you" means letting go of the control of how and when you get better. It’s an admission that His ways are better than yours. Don’t resist the pressure; it’s just the process of becoming who you were meant to be.

If you’re ready for the change, He is ready to lead. ☕️

“A Savior like Christ
is the only hope
for a sinner like me.”

— Charles H. Spurgeon

The Gospel begins
with this truth—

you are not the exception.

You are the need.

Not slightly broken.

Not mostly good.

In need of saving.

Completely.

And no amount of effort,
discipline,
or religion
can fix what sin has broken.

That’s why Christ came.

Not to improve you—

but to redeem you.

Not to assist—

but to save.

Because the only hope
for a sinner

is not trying harder—

it’s surrendering fully
to the Savior.

“For the Son of man is come
to seek and to save
that which was lost.”☕️
Luke 19:10

Come to Jesus.
Lay it all at His feet,
an act of surrender
An offering so sweet.
When you reach the end
Of what you are and do
That's finally when
He can do His work in you.
You've carried so much
For so very long
You're tired and weary
You know you're not strong.
So lay it down
Give it to Him
He will lighten your load
And wash away your sin.
Come to Jesus,
He will wipe your tears
Bring healing and grace
And soothe your fears.
Come to Jesus,
Know the peace He gives
Know His love and mercy
So you can truly live.☕️

"When I Speak Your Name in Prayer"

I'd like to sit you down and tell you everything's okay
And have the strength enough to pull you through another day
I'd like to help you to believe that this will be all right
And that you will not have to spend another sleepless night
I'd like to hold your hand and wipe the teardrops from your eyes
And help you just to sort things out while you question why
I'd like to try and lift the load and carry it for you
And truly help you understand just what you're going through
I'd like to have the words to make this trouble disappear
And give you peace of mind so you won't shed another tear
I'd like to have the magic touch to take away your pain
And help you see the blue sky just beyond this blinding rain.
But sometimes what we say or do just cannot be enough
To ease another's passage through a trail so dark and rough
There is one thing I know will help much more than I can say
And rest assured that I will do it when I kneel to pray
I will take your name before the Father as I seek His face
And ask Him to enfold you in His arms of warm embrace
There's no one who can comfort you quite like the Father can
And surely carry you across this dark and frightening span
Although, I dearly care for you and want to help so much
I know that what you really need is in the Father's touch
So, I will take you to the throne and leave you in His care
I know He will deliver, when I speak your name in prayer

In the middle of the night, I confess, I have sometimes laid awake with worry. Should I have done things differently? Did I make the right decisions? Did I say the right things?

In the dark of night, I feel myself tempted to believe it’s all up to me.

Fear begins to surround me as my mind is assaulted by all sorts of scary scenarios involving those I love.

Worry seeks to blind me from God’s nearness.

But then.

I remember God, You are there.

Slowly, Your truths come to my mind.

I recall the promises You’ve whispered all those early mornings spent in Your Word.

As my sleepy eyes opened my Bible, day after day, I didn’t immediately understand all that You were teaching.

But, true to Who You are, You we’re doing so much more than I realized as I held your Living Word in my hands.

Something truly supernatural was happening.

Father, You were equipping me for the battle. You arm me with truth. You were building a shield about me (Ps 3:3)

No, Your Word has not and will not return void (Isa 55:11).

Your Holy Spirit reminds me of what You’ve said (John 14:26)

Once again, Your Truth calms my fears, lifts my head, and directs my steps (Psalm 119:133)

Your voice pierces through the darkest of nights. I remember, You see all things, and know all things, and absolutely nothing is too hard for You (Luke 1:37)

Nothing.

God, You know us better than we know ourselves (Psalm 139), and You are continually at work in my life and the lives of those I love (Rom 8:28).

You beckon me, once again, to lay down my burdens and run to Your powerful arms. (1 Pet 5:7)

You are a strong tower (Prov 18:10). You are rich in mercy. Your love does not fail. You are kind, and You are patient. (Eph 2:4-5) You are perfect in all of Your ways (Ps 18:30) . You know all things (1 John 3:20).

And when I find my flesh afraid again, for myself or for those I love, Your Spirit beckons me to remember Your Word.

You are, indeed, a firm foundation (Isa 33:6) Your Kingdom has no end (Luke 1:33)

You created the Heavens and the Earth. You hold the future. And yet, You know every hair on my head and every hair on the head of those I love. (Luke 12:7).

You carry my tears in a bottle.(Psalm 56:8).

You hear my prayers. And when I don’t know what to pray ...You, the King of Kings, You sit enthroned in Heaven praying for me and for those I love! (Rom 8:26-27).

I can go nowhere that You do not see. I will face nothing that doesn’t first come through Your hand.(Ecc 9:1)

You work even the hardest of things together for good for those who love You. (Rom 8:28)

You never sleep, and You never slumber. (Ps 121:4)

You will never leave me. You’ll never forsake me.(Heb 13:5).

And as much as I love those You’ve given me to love...You love them more!

You care about them more! You are more concerned for them than I am!

You’ve never asked me to be their savior.

That’s your job.

You’ve only asked me to love them, share truth with them, and trust You.

Your Word helps me do just that.

Help me to daily allow Your Word to guard my heart and my mind.

May I never stop seeking You. May my ears hear Your voice above all fears.

May every word I speak only point to You.

And may I, once again, remember Your powerful promises and trust you with all that concerns me.

What a Savior! ☕️

More about Jesus would I know,
more of His grace to others show;
more of His saving fullness see,
more of His love who died for me.

More, more about Jesus;
more, more about Jesus;
more of His saving fullness see,
more of His love who died for me.

More about Jesus let me learn,
more of His holy will discern.
Spirit of God, my Teacher be,
showing the things of Christ to me.

More about Jesus in His Word,
holding communion with my Lord,
hearing His voice in ev'ry line,
making each faithful saying mine.

More about Jesus on His throne,
riches in glory all His own;
more of His kingdom's sure increase;
more of His coming, Prince of Peace. ☕️

Loving like Jesus isn’t always soft.
It’s not always easy.

We often think Christ-like love looks like kindness, patience, and selflessness—and it does.
But it also looks like choosing grace when it hurts.

It looks like praying for people who hurt you.
Choosing not to become what broke you.
And surrendering your pain to God instead of letting it harden your heart.

Because real, God-centered love is not based on how others treat you—
it’s rooted in who He is within you.

And sometimes, the most powerful kind of love
is the one that costs you something…
but still chooses grace anyway.

And maybe this is where new things begin—
not in perfect understanding,
but in full surrender.☕️

GOD IS NOT MAD AT YOU....

You have lived as a faithful servant, you have prayed diligently, and you have known God’s voice. You have won victories in the past, and you deeply love the Lord. But now you’re bruised deeply, wounded as never before, and you can’t even bring yourself to pray.
This Christian walk is warfare. It means battles, weariness, wounds, and a ferocious enemy who is out to destroy you. And that’s when you’re most vulnerable to condemning thoughts.
Your conscience tells you: “You’re not praying the way you did before. You don’t study the Word enough. You’re dried up and lukewarm, your fire is going out, and you’re simply not a good testimony. Now you’ve allowed satan to rob you of the peace God gave you. You just don’t have what it takes.”
And we think, “I’ve let my Lord down. I have not obeyed His Word.” Your wavering faith is a wick that’s smoldering, and the devil is eager to see it snuffed out.

Like the prophet Elijah, you’re worn out and discouraged; all you want to do is sleep. Scripture says that is just what this godly man did: “He lay [down] and slept” (1 Kings 19:5). He simply couldn’t carry the burden anymore.
But the Lord didn’t rebuke Elijah for this. God knew His servant had come to a breaking point. I picture our precious Father saying of him, “Look at this faithful man, bruised and hurting. He has reached the end of his rope, unable to explain his pain to anyone. I have promised him, ‘I will not break a bruised reed.’”
So, what happened? “The angel of the Lord came . . . and touched [Elijah], and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee” (1 Kings 19:7).
Here is an incredible word for every bruised reed who is reading this message. It doesn’t matter how bruised you are, how bent down by your flood of testing, God has made you a promise: “You will not be broken. I won’t allow your flame to go out. Your faith will not be quenched.”
Dear saint, this message is to you from heaven. You are being touched with a word that calls to you: “Rise up now. God isn’t mad at you. And He’s not going to let you go down. He knows this situation is too great for you to handle. He will supply you with supernatural strength. He’s going to give you what you need to move on.” ☕️

Take a few moments to concentrate on all the blessings the Lord has given.

I know times are hard...but even still a thorough examination of what we truly have is astounding.

There is always, always something to be thankful for.

Let the goodness of God set in and thank Him for all He has given. It will bring a smile upon your face and put joy in your heart.

God is good always good. ☕️
