The world is getting noisy.
We can hear many voices. Don't get distracted.
There are many hirelings, false teachers & false prophets.
Spend time at the Master's feet & learn to recognize His voice!

Matthew 4:19 ~ Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

John 10:27 ~ My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

1 Kings 19:12 ~ and after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice. ☕️

✍️ “𝘐𝘯 𝘎𝘰𝘥’𝘴 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘫𝘰𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥.
𝘈𝘵 𝘏𝘪𝘴 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥, 𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥.”

Sometimes we think a moment will finally make us happy—a promotion, a purchase, a payout, or rewards. We chase joy like a shadow, always just out of reach. Perhaps you are exhausted from pretending to be fine, wondering why the Christian life feels more like duty than delight. Whether secretly disappointed or quietly distressed, the question is not, "Where is joy?" but, "Where are we seeking it?"

𝐏𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐦 𝟏𝟔:𝟏𝟏 declares, “𝘛𝘩𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘵 𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘸 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦: 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘺 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘫𝘰𝘺; 𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘺 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦.” David does not point us to possessions but to presence. Joy is not found in what God gives—but in where God is. The path of life leads into His presence.

“𝘍𝘶𝘭𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴” means complete—overflowing, lacking nothing. Picture a dry well in a barren land: no matter how deep it is, it cannot satisfy without water. So is the soul without God. Activity, success, even ministry cannot fill it. Only His presence satisfies. Prayer is not digging deeper into emptiness, it is coming to the Living Water.

Scripture settles this truth. “𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘶𝘪𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘴… 𝘫𝘰𝘺” (𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟓:𝟐𝟐). “𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘫𝘰𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘖𝘙𝘋 𝘪𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘵𝘩” (𝐍𝐞𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐚𝐡 𝟖:𝟏𝟎). “𝘙𝘦𝘫𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺” (𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟒:𝟒). “𝘛𝘩𝘺 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘴 𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘮𝘺 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘭” (𝐏𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐦 𝟗𝟒:𝟏𝟗). Joy is not borrowed from the world nor withdrawn from bank accounts—it is bestowed by God.

The Bible teaches that true joy is a fruit of the Spirit, not a byproduct of our circumstances (𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟓:𝟐𝟐). “𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘫𝘰𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘖𝘙𝘋 𝘪𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘵𝘩” (𝐍𝐞𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐚𝐡 𝟖:𝟏𝟎). “𝘙𝘦𝘫𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺: 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘐 𝘴𝘢𝘺, 𝘙𝘦𝘫𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦” (𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟒:𝟒). “𝘐𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘺 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘴 𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘮𝘺 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘭” (𝐏𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐦 𝟗𝟒:𝟏𝟗). Joy is not borrowed from the world—it is bestowed by God.

And this joy sustains us. “𝘠𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘫𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘫𝘰𝘺 𝘶𝘯𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘨𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘺” (𝟏 𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟏:𝟖). Like a child resting in a father’s arms during a storm, peace is not found in the absence of trouble but in the presence of our Heavenly Father. “𝘞𝘩𝘰𝘮 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘐 𝘪𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘦?” (𝐏𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐦 𝟕𝟑:𝟐𝟓). When we have Him, we have enough.

We could not enter God’s holy presence on our own. Sin barred the way. Yet “𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘩 𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘴, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘶𝘯𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘶𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘎𝘰𝘥” (𝟏 𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟑:𝟏𝟖). He did not merely show the path of life—He is the giver of life (𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝟑:𝟏𝟔). Through Him, we are brought near.

Perhaps we have been seeking joy in the wrong places—moments, achievements, escapes. Joy cannot be manufactured; it is found in His presence. You don’t need Christ just to improve your life—you need Him to be your life. Draw near, and discover what your soul has been missing all along.

Remember, a dose of God’s Word a day will keep you going all day!

We often think productivity is the path to spiritual growth, but Jesus invites us into something different: abiding. Not performing, not rushing, not checking boxes — but dwelling in Him. Like a branch connected to the vine, your life draws strength, purpose, and fruitfulness from staying with Jesus.

Martha was busy doing good things, but Mary chose the best thing — being still at His feet. You were never meant to live in survival mode or spiritual dryness. Real peace, wisdom, and transformation come when we linger in His presence, not when we squeeze Him into our schedule. Jesus isn’t a destination to visit when life breaks — He’s the home you were meant to live in daily. So breathe. Stay. Abide. Everything you truly need is found in Him.

Abide in Me, and I in you… apart from Me you can do nothing. ☕️

All that we are and all that we have is from His gracious hand.
Every good gift, every blessing, every breath—none of it is ours by right, but all by His mercy.

Apart from Him, we are empty.
In Him, we lack nothing.☕️

What God speaks...accomplishes.
What God appoints...cannot be undone by man.

The only way to get the dread taken out of us is to listen to God's say-so.

But the Lord is my helper, this second in this present moment.

I will not fear. It doesn't matter what evil or wrong may be in the way, He said-I will never leave thee.

Always remember God's Say-so, " I will in no wise fail you." ☕️

God’s Plans Are Greater Than You Know
I had plans once.

Neat and folded,
laid out like a map

I was so certain of.
I knew the road.
I knew the timeline.
I knew exactly where
I was supposed to be

and when
and how.

And then life happened.
And the map tore.

The thing I prayed for didn’t come.
The door I knocked on didn’t open.
The person I loved left anyway.
The dream I carried for so long

slipped right through my tired hands
and I stood in the wreckage
of everything I thought
was supposed to be my story —
and I asked,

God, where are You in this?
Did You see this coming?
Did You know this road
would bring me to my knees?

Did You know I’d be standing here
with nothing left
but a whisper of belief
and a heart that’s barely holding?

And from the ancient pages,
from a letter written to the broken,
to the exiled, to the lost,
to the ones who sat by foreign rivers
and wept for what was gone

He answered.

“For I know the plans I have for you.”

Not —
I had plans, once, before you
wandered off the path.

Not —
I had plans, but you’ve
made too many mistakes.

Not —
I had plans, but now
we’ll have to settle for something less.

I know.

Present tense.
Right now.

In this moment.
In this mess.
In this grief you cannot name
and this fear you cannot shake

I know the plans I have for you.
Oh, let that land.

He is not scrambling.
He is not surprised.
He did not turn away for one small moment
and miss the thing that broke you.
He was there when it fell apart.
He was there in the silence after.
He was there in every tearstained night
when you couldn’t find the words to pray
and all you had was groaning
and He counted every one.

His plans are not your plans.
That used to frighten me.

Now it is the only thing
that gets me to my knees in gratitude —
because my plans were so small.

My plans were built on what I could see.
On what made sense.
On what the world told me
success and safety looked like.

But He sees the end
from the beginning.

He sees the doors behind the closed ones.
He sees the healing on the other side
of the breaking.
He sees the person you are becoming
inside the pain you’re in.
He sees what this is making you into —
and it is more
than you have dared to ask for.

Plans to prosper you.

Not to leave you in the ashes.

Plans to give you hope
not someday, maybe, if you earn it,
but written into the blueprint
of your life

before you drew your first breath.
A future.
When everything felt finished,
He was already writing
what comes next.

So cry if you need to cry.
Grieve what needs grieving.
Sit in the not-yet
and let it be hard

but do not let the enemy
convince you that the silence is abandonment.

Do not let the waiting
be mistaken for forgetting.

He has not forgotten you.
He knows your name.
He knows this chapter.
He knows how many times
you’ve read the promises

and wondered if they’re really meant for you —
they are.
They are for you,

the one reading this
with the ache you haven’t told anyone about,
with the prayer you’ve prayed
so many times

you’ve almost stopped believing —
don’t stop.

His plans are not on your timeline.
His ways are higher than your understanding.
And the story He is writing
with your one, precious, painful, beautiful life —
is greater
than anything
you ever could have planned
for yourself.

Trust Him.

Not because the road is clear.
Not because the pain is gone.

Trust Him because He is good
when nothing feels good.
Trust Him because He is faithful
when everything feels broken.
Trust Him because He said I know —
and He has never once
been wrong. 🕊️

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Jesus is strong...but He's also approachable. He is able to carry our load...but He'll never make us feel embarrassed or defeated for asking.

You don’t have to be strong for God to come near.
You don’t have to have it all together.
You don’t have to hide the weight you’re carrying.

The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
Psalm 34:18

God doesn’t wait for your strength—
He comes in your weakness.
He doesn’t stand at a distance—
He draws near.

When you feel low… He is closer.

When you feel empty… He is present.

When you feel broken… He is working.
You may feel alone…
…but you are not.
God is nearer than you think.☕️
