It all started with a book on Russian criminal tattoos, it's pages filled with the most depraved, violent and vulgar tattoos I've ever seen, the idea of a tattoo wedding dress got stuck in my head. Over many months and sketches, musing over tattoo art, Mexican Catholic art, Arthur Miller's love letters, this is the dress we made and this was the beginning of the Tempest collection.
