Something that I see around telegram a good bit is the complaint that the right, unlike the left, lacks a positive vision.

I cannot help but think that the opposite is true. What positive vision does the left defend? They already have gay “marriage”, non-discrimination laws, cultural hegemony, and near control over the global economy. We live in their world, and they have nothing left to offer (besides pedophilia, but that’s about it) because they delivered on all of their promises. When they try and make their case, it is oppositional. Opposition to racism, opposition to bigotry, opposition to authoritarianism, etc. It is the left that has a “negative vision”, to borrow a phrase.

What about the right? It is us who can make promises about a possible future. There are factions on the right, yes, but the common concerns, while in need of development (theoretically and practically), provides a better vision than the left in terms of making people’s lives tangibly better. Here are just a few common concerns:

-creating/defending a community with a shared culture
-an economy that prioritizes national and local interest above the profits of the Fortune 500
-education that teaches children to be proud of their history, be able to get jobs, and be good people
-owning a house and land, rather than living in a pod
-a world free of porn, seed oils, high fructose corn syrup, and other poisons, and, instead, promoting organic food and physical fitness.

There are different angles to this, you can do a more racial angle or more religious angle, to name two, and there is the question of how we develop these concerns in theory and how to practically address them. Yet, with those gaps, the coalition of common concerns (which we call the right) does have a positive vision, and it has more to promise the average man than the left’s negative vision.

Something I liked about the name “alternative right” was the word “alternative.” “Dissident right”, however, places “dissent”, saying “no”, at its core. While we should say “no” to evil, we must emphasize that we have a better future in mind. This is not to say we should rehash the label “alt right”, that’s been too tarnished, but it’s an urge for our sphere to double down on this:

“The present sucks, the left has given all that it has promised, so if you want something better then take a listen to what we have to say, because we think a better and brighter future is possible.”

This man deserves a medal for his actions. However there is no "fight" against child trafficking in Ireland. Not when it comes to the state. This child was brought through airport security easily despite very clear signs of being trafficked.

The hospitality sector, teachers and medical professionals are most likely to come into contact with a trafficked child. Alongside presumably airport staff.

"JP O’Sullivan from MECPATHS (Mercy Efforts for Child Protection Against Trafficking with the Hospitality Sector) offers training to help those in the hospitality industry pinpoint signs of child trafficking.
He spoke of how one Cork hotel the organisation provided information to contact them with suspicions about a guest who it later turned out had managed to traffic a child to Ireland.
While the hotel worker immediately noticed the signs, Mr O’Sullivan said he was alarmed that the predator had made it through airport security despite clear warning signs. The child was immediately taken in by Tusla. However, the advocate believes that, without the help of this hotel worker, the child would likely have remained undetected."

33% of those being trafficked globally are children, but Ireland has not identified and therefore rescued a single child in two years, but they are very much present here:
