I listened to the news (KFM) in the car while driving. They interviewed a pro refugee protestor and it was a confident , soft toned, compassionate sounding young lady.
They then played a clip of an anti refugee demonstrator and it was an older woman with a strong north side accent who couldnt quite articulate as well as the previous interviewee.
They are turning this into a class war where the rich and educated are in favour of open borders and the uneducated ruffians are against it

Just reading an msn article on Independent.ie here published today online in which Donaghmede Sinn Fein councillor Mr MacDonagh tells the Irish Independent "In the past couple of weeks, it seems this hysteria about alleged crimes carried out by asylum seekers, have been made up, they didn't happen at all."

Next to it is an article from the Irish Examiner, also published today reporting of an Anatol Botnari (in Ireland since September & seemingly of no fixed abode) suffering head injuries after being confronted by up to 40 vigilantes, appearing in court charged with the alleged sexual assault of a young girl in Ballymun.

Thing about 'politics' in years past was it didn't divide the entire population into two opposing camps (except in the North where it was the entire point of plantation and reason for partition)
