In Dublin, working class communities have been controlled with €€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€ for at least 20 years. There is a vast infrastructure in place. Many community leaders are given astroturf jobs. Part of why there is no political will to end ubiquitous Irish homelessness (which hardly existed 15 years ago) is because it's such a massive industry.

The Democrat Party has been doing this with Minorities, in the US, for decades. They need to keep them ‘on the reservation’ or else there’d be no need for the DNC. It’s part of their sales pitch.
