I have witnessed 1st hand the over reach of the Irish state. I was gobsmacked when I was arrested for travelling beyond 5k in March 2021. They treated me like a domestic terrorist, I was put in a cell for 6 hours and brought to a special sitting of a district court in Naas. The judge called me a superspreader because the guards told to judge I was travelling to a protest ( no evidence) threatened me with mount joy unless I could give €1000 cash bail & sign on in my local Garda station 3 times a week. I met drug dealers while signing on who said they where caught with 80k of drugs & only had to sign on once a week. Baring in mind I’m a 45 year old woman with no previous and a HR manager for an international company. They also printed my full name and address in the newspapers. Disgraceful

Malachy Steenson said that he will be joining us in the rally and will be speaking. I'm going to the EastWall protest tomorrow and will be encouraging everyone to join us on Saturday. The main speaking location will be announced on the bridge at 1pm Saturday

We are starting at O'Connell Bridge 1pm and the rally will include a circuit of town walking through the streets asserting our message.

It's free speech so you can feel free to say what you like. The overall theme of the day is 'free speech' and defending that right.

Be ready to fight for freedom of expression. Have placards , banners, whistles, drums, biscuit tin lids and bolts or something to bang them with.
