So long as people like Mike Connell, Matt Walsh amd Vincent Carroll continue to articulate what the vast majority of people think, the evil, corrupt elements of society will be kept at bay. Very interestingly, an autobiography I recently read of one Frank Serpico, a Policeman in NY in the 70s, had a paragraph where he described several times throughout his career he found himself in street fights amd without access to his gun. Given that this man was not particularly large in stature, he was physically outmuscled. But the fact that he, and the opposing party in these streetfights were aware he was a cop and on the side of good, he prevailed and always managed to get the cuffs on the perp. Good prevailed over evil because even the bad guy knew he was on the wrong side of justice.
