Mike has created this video setting out his concerns about the group known as Lawyers for Justice. I completely agree with his conclusions.

This group openly support:

- the use of hate speech laws to censor dissent;
- the disclosure of private medical information to access goods and services; and
- the confiscation of private property by Government

but do not take my word for it, watch the video, where screenshots of their Facebook posts will prove the concerns raised in this video are valid.

I also want to pre-empt any suggestion that I/we are creating division.

I have been raising concerns for 3 years about the erosion of freedoms. I have raised concerns regarding the Government, opposition parties, Senators, media outlets and NGO's, however, raising concerns regarding those organisations never gave rise to a suggestion that I was creating division, because you could see that those people were the enemies of freedom.

Judge Lawyers for Justice on the basis of what they themselves have written and then make up your own mind as to whether your values align with theirs. I can say that my views are diametrically opposed to those of Lawyers for Justice. I view Lawyers for Justice as a very real threat to freedom, partially because of the support they have managed to garner over the past 11 months, but also because they have managed to dress up totalitarian policy and sell it to you as though it were freedom.

In circumstances where they decide to respond to this video - see whether they actually answer any of the charges put to them, or whether they just try to stir your emotion by talking about the work they have done and/or me trying to create division. This again is a tactic used by the Left (where they attack the person, not the argument).

Members of this group have been asked on multiple occasions to explain the charges put to them in this video and they have either failed to do so, or sidestepped the question.

- did you support testing as an option to access goods or services is a yes/no answer. If they say no – I am telling you that they are lying as this is the singular reason why I left this group.

- do you support hate speech laws as a concept and a defence for speech you do not like is a yes/no answer. If they say no – they are lying as they have openly called for the censorship of speech they do not like.

- do you support the Government expanding their right to forcefully confiscate private property is a yes/no answer. If they say no – they are lying. According to their posts they believe that a right to housing is a human right. How do you think this “right” will be realised, except with the confiscation of your property or increasing the taxes you already pay.

Please understand that I have taken exception to this group as many of my own supporters and friends, people who I believed stood for freedom, now stand in support of a group who I genuinely believe pose a grave threat to individual liberty.

Be under no illusion that this group are going from strength to strength because of your support and while you might agree with their opinions on some issues, the evidence presented in this video will prove that they are in lock-step with the establishment on the most important issues.

I have always spoken out on topics of concern, so I hope you acknowledge that this message is a continuation of what I have been doing for the past 3 years.

Should you objectively assess the evidence put forth in this video and decide that Lawyers for Justice still deserve your trust, while I support your right to make this decision, know that you and I no longer have a common goal as I am not prepared, under any circumstances, to compromise on freedom.
