"Currently doing a read of @aoifegall's new book Web of Lies, I've be reviewing it shortly, and there's a short section of it that seems to be lifted directly out of an SPLC report.

The publishing company say it's a referencing error and that it will be fixed immediately.

The interesting thing here is that the first quote seems to be misreported in the SPLC report, and consequently misreported in the book. I may be wrong, but I've found the resolution being referenced, and it never uses the term "scheme."

If I'm correct on that it indicates Gallagher took everything from the SPLC, including the bridging statements between the two quotes, without checking their accuracy. Not great for a book on misinformation."
