Although in early development, it can identify user location, can archive chats, list channel members, and tell you where forwarded messages have come from.

It's quite clever, but the question is: why bother? ISD is funded by the US Department of Homeland Security and the US State Department. It also gets cash from the National Endowment for Democracy, unofficially known as the 'second CIA'. All of these organisations have much superior technology for data scraping Telegram, and they will all be covertly monitoring dissident channels in a manner similar to ISD. So why are Western governments paying NGOs like ISD to monitor Telegram, when their own intelligence agencies are already doing so?
