As time goes by, the meaning of words evolves, even changes completely.
'Left wing' traditionally meant people who wished to change the world, 'right wing' denoted people who wanted it to stay much as it was.
I grew up hating War, Imperialism and Unelected Billionaire Rule, and in my youth that meant you were on the 'Left'.
Until the warmongers, imperialists and billionaires bought, subverted and eventually BECAME 'the Left', ruthlessly purging anyone they saw as an obstacle.
It is clear now there is a massive and sweeping agenda to change the world as we have always known it, to radically alter established time-honoured norms of society. It's manifest in the LGBTQPWTF agenda, the climate hysteria, the COVID mass lunacy, the surveillance mania.
Those who go along with this insane ideology are now 'the Left'. They are welcome to the term. I want no part of anything to do with them.
Those who oppose the New Normal, resist mass MSM/FB/Twitter brainwashing and would like to preserve the sanctity of family/community bonds as we have known them for aeons, are now designated 'right wing' and 'conservative'.
